Daily presentations will be held in the open area at IFAT 2016 demonstrating the professional handling of underground collection container systems from Paul Wolff GmbH.

Mönchengladbach/Ditzingen, May 30, 2016 - For the first time visitors to IFAT, (from 30 May until 3 June) will be able to follow the professional maintenance of a modern underground collection container system from Paul Wolff GmbH. Here, a complete underground system will be installed in the 515/1 FM area. The system is comprised of a concrete shaft with a security platform and a collection container as well as an above ground disposal opening and crane hook system.

Each day at 11:35 am and again, at 3:35 pm, a garbage collection vehicle from Cargotec/Hiab will extract the U-Select Superior Glass container from Paul Wolff using a crane hook. There, the 3 cubic meters steel container will be lifted, opened and closed in mid-air right before the audience’s eyes finally to be returned to the underground concrete shaft from which it was removed.

The demonstration is part of the “Trucks in Action Show” being presented by the Association of Work Tool and Municipal Vehicles Industry e.V. (VAK) and will be presented for the first time together with the community’s quality waste and recycling containers. “Out on the open terrain and also at our booth No 327 in Hall B2, trade visitors can get an idea of how efficient and easy the handling of our underground systems can be”, explains Dr. Hanns Menzel, CEO, Paul Wolff GmbH. “They will realize how we adapt the sophisticated flexibility of our products to the needs of our customers- from the design of the container’s disposal opening to equipping them with ProCount, the intelligent system for source-specific waste management.

The waste and recycling containers are completely concealed underground with only the disposal opening slot remaining visible.
